For Hayden’s debut single at Listen Up, he chose to cover “It’s Not Unusual,” made famous by Tom Jones in 1965. Hayden sang vocals and played the cymbals on the song, with Jon adding piano, guitar, and a bee-boppy organ, along with mixing and mastering. Here’s what Hayden has to say about the track: “I hope that people get as much enjoyment out of the song as I did. I was really trying to capture the feel of that retro 1960’s pop sound. I hope people will rediscover this and listen to more 60’s music and have an appreciation for it like I do.”
