“Sebasticook Lake” by Kathleen

Kathleen’s latest single continues her theme of vacation songs, with a track destined to be included on her second “Travel EP.” She wrote the lyrics before the pandemic, then worked with Eric to set them to chords during socially-distant programming in the summer of 2020. She was able to finish the song for good when it was safe to return to the studio again in 2021. Kathleen sang vocals and played bass, Bobby added the djembe part, Eric played acoustic guitar and sang backing vocals, and Jon added piano and harmonica. Here’s what Kathleen has to say about her newest single:

“I wrote this song about my trip to Sebasticook Lake. Eric arranged the music for it last summer during the pandemic when we were back for a short period of time. We completed it this year with vocals and a few other instruments. I hope you guys enjoy this song, I worked really hard on it over the last year and a half.”
