In the summer of 2019, Listen Up hosted local musician and longtime collaborator Monique Barrett for a workshop series in partnership with 317 Main Community Music Center. For six weeks, Listen Up musicians worked with Monique on songwriting skills and co-wrote this song as a group. “The Newborns” took to the streets for their one-and-only live performance at the Make Music Portland Fest in June, but their legacy lives on with this single, featuring the following performers:
